Letter from the President

Welcome to the Pennsylvania State Society of Washington D.C. After a short hiatus during the pandemic, I am pleased to say that we have reignited and are resuming in person events. I am honored to begin my role as President in leading and connecting a group of individuals that share a common bond through the Keystone State.

The Society is a non-partisan, non-profit organization open to anyone who takes pride in their passion for Pennsylvania. With the help of a volunteer Board of Directors and the generous support of individual and corporate sponsors, it is the mission of this Society to celebrate the rich history of our Commonwealth and foster connections between those of us who live and work in the Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. areas.

As an American University and John Hopkins alum, Capitol Hill veteran, and now living and working out of both Pennsylvania and D.C., I’'ve long held joint loyalties. This Society has given me and many others the opportunity to associate with individuals who share this same love for both Pennsylvania and D.C. Though we may be miles away from Lincoln Financial Field, the Duquesne Incline, or the nearest Sheetz, the Pennsylvania State Society of Washington D.C. is a fantastic place to share in Pennsylvania’s history, businesses, sports teams, and politicians.

I invite you to attend our events and become a member of our Society. From off-the-record chats with Pennsylvania politicians to receptions and golf outings, the Pennsylvania State Society has a calendar of events planned for this year, and I hope you will join us in celebrating our ties to the Commonwealth.

Sincerely,
Keith Pemrick
President
